Midore Bakery
“Taste and see that the Lord is good…” Psalm 34:8
At the Current time our Bakery had to be closed due to the unrest in Port au Prince.
This psalm runs through the veins of the bakery Mike and Doodle Cinotti own and operate in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Since founding Team Haiti in 2010, Mike and Doodle have felt a calling to share their experience and craft. After raising funding for the building supplies, procuring used bakery equipment, and spending an inordinate amount of time training bakers, the Cinotti’s were pleased their hard work is coming to fruition.
In late 2020, the Midore Bakery in Port au Prince is set to open.
Bakers will make fresh bread and pastries for locals as well as for vendors who will sell the products in other villages. Midore bakery will also make and deliver bread to the Mission of Grace in Carries as part of Team Haiti’s food distribution project.
While Mike and Doodle will be on board to provide business management advice and operational consulting, the bakery will be operated by local Haitians and will employ more than ten people. This is a great opportunity for the men and women to learn a trade, provide for their families, and to bring the community together with food.
Sponsors to the Midore Bakery will help purchase supplies and make payroll. All profits for Midore Bakery are put back into the mission to hire more people. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or you wish to further this tasty cause, please consider a donation in any amount.
