The ability for the village of Carries to get water to drink or for sanitation was cut off during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic. With the country being closed and travel restrictions on US citizens during this time, no one from Team Haiti was able to distribute water bottles.

 

This led to our Water Project mission.

 

With quick thinking and generous donations, Team Haiti was able to hire a truck to deliver fresh water to the village. People were able to fill multiple containers with water to stay hydrated and clean.

 

The water project will continue as long as necessary. Each truckload is $40 and benefits so many people in Carries.
