​Kristin’s Corner is a sewing and craft room for men and women in Carries to learn a trade and provide income for their family. The room was created in memory of a Team Haiti missionary and mother to our team member, Natalie Cross.  Kristen started this sewing room with Mission of Grace and her daughter now carries the tradition through Team Haiti today.

 

Learning a trade not only keeps the men and women of Haiti mentally engaged, it also helps them feel valued and respected by their peers.

 

Our hope is to have a teacher come in weekly and teach various skills to the teens and other members of the community. This valuable trade will allow individuals to earn a living and provide for their families
